Upon graduating from the University of Northern Colorado in 2006 with a bachelor’s degree in business management, Mr. Kimsey was subsequently offered a job at Countrywide Home Loans, where he developed a great passion for the field. He went on to serve as a banker at Bank of American from 2006 to 2010 and as a production manager at IoanDepot between 2010 and 2013. In 2013, he became the senior vice president of the Federal Savings Bank, where he remained until 2019. Having finally cultivated the courage and capital to strike out on his own, Mr. Kimsey subsequently went into business for himself.
In 2019, Mr. Kimsey became the founding partner, chief executive officer and executive chairperson of EnTrust Funding, a consumer direct mortgage lending company. Currently leading four EnTrust locations with almost 350 employees, he has utilized his professional expertise to build a company dedicated to bettering the lives of homeowners and employees. Furthermore, in 2021, Mr. Kimsey became the chief executive officer of Kimsey Ventures, a privately held investment company, which primarily focuses on real estate acquisition, development opportunities and business investments.
Finding early success in his career ventures, Mr. Kimsey has been listed among the Top 100 in Finance by Q3. Likewise, he was featured in Voyage Phoenix and Top Agent Magazine. Mr. Kimsey attributes his success to hard work, taking on challenges, having trust in his team and learning valuable lessons from his mistakes.
