Franklin Levy, managing member, chief financial officer, co-owner and co-founder of GS Mining Company, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in mining.
Mr. Levy leads the GS Mining Company to recover the richest ore the Earth has to offer by means of sustainable and ethical practices. His goal is to bring dormant mines back to life and revenue while enhancing and rejuvenating the surrounding environment and communities. Supplementing his career, Mr. Levy has been active on the board of the Maanshan Xiaonanshan Mining Company in the Peoples Republic of China. In this role, he is actively involved in all aspects of production and development within the iron ore mine. Moreover, he has been hands-on in China at the mine dealing with mine management, mining and exploration plans and local government regulators.
Prior to his career with GS Mining Company, Mr. Levy excelled as a senior managing partner of York Street Partners on Seychelles Island, a senior partner with Tengri Holding in Singapore and a consultant for the China Malaysia Qinzhou Industrial Park. During his time abroad, he was involved in a dispute concerning a mine in China. He was able to resolve the dispute favorably and in the process learned a great deal about the mining industry. As a result, he co-founded GS Mining Company in 2017.
