Berndt Nygren, President of Align Organize Develop, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in international business change, development, project management and engineering.
Backed by a Master of Science in industrial engineering and management from Chalmers Technical University in Sweden from 1988, Mr. Nygren has gone on to lead an illustrious career in engineering, business, and project management. From his education, he learned with a holistic view and from different perspectives look at companies in order to define targets, strategies and development plans. He recently became the President of Align Organize Develop, a venture that provides step-by-step guidance to senior leaders in expectation of and during expansion, growth, and restructuring. In this role, he utilizes his experience to define clear target images, communicate, build leadership teams, and focus on the same overall target and cooperate to achieve successful business development. He has developed and successfully used his own model to analyze organizations status and define needed actions and leadership style/approach for rapid and sustainable growth and increased profitability.
Prior to this, he excelled as a senior advisor and change management consultant for AFRY in Sweden. Mr. Nygren attributes his success to his capability for creating a target image, development story and communicating that together with business acumen, coaching target-driven leadership and a drive for success. Prior to spearheading his career, he notably served in the Swedish Army as a company officer and second lieutenant in 1980 and 1981.
Prior to his current role, Mr. Nygren was Task Force Manager at Scania & MAN, a senior advisor to the vice president of operations and supply chain of Roplan AB, project purchasing manager of Northvolt A and project manager of Mekonomen AB/BCP in 2018 and 2019. Between 2014 and 2018, he served as an interim chief operating officer and supply chain manager of Vitamin Well AB, logistics expert for Profi Fastigheter AB, business development consultant for BYGGmax AB, project manager of Toyota Materials Handling AB, head of project for Svenska Retursystem AB, lecturer at Företagsekonomiska Institutet (FEI) and interim supply chain manager for Colfax Fluid Handling. In the earlier years of Mr. Nygren’s career, he offered his skills in similar roles to companies such as Jollyroom AB, Ericcson and TAMRO, among others. He took on his first professional role in 1981 as a project manager offshore. He continued his career with several other management positions such as Factory Manager for Albin Components, Head of Supply Chain, Logistics and Marketing Nordic Region for Roche Diagnostics, GM and Site & Fulfilment Director North Europe for Yves Rocher.
