From starting out as a medical assistant to establishing herself as a key player in healthcare management, Ms. Echevarria has dedicated her life to assisting patients for over 20 years. In her current roles, she manages daily department functions, including medical coding, charge entries, payment posting and reimbursements. Additionally, she collects, posts and manages patient account payments and follows up on past due invoices and delinquent accounts. Prior, she is most proud of managing an office for two decades. She was honored to work in the field of sleep medicine and have her Sleep Center accredited through the American Association of Sleep Medicine and the Medical Association of Sleep.
Throughout her career, Ms. Echevarria has maintained professional affiliations with Medscape, the National Honor Society the American College Health Association, Alpha Alpha Honor Society and the American Association of Medical Assistants. Moreover, she became a durable medical equipment provider through the American Association of Sleep Medicine. Slated to graduate in 2022, she is currently in pursuit of a Bachelor of Science in healthcare administration from Purdue University. For her achievements, she is proud to have been included on the Chancellor’s List as well as the Dean’s List. Looking toward the future, she aims to become a healthcare administrator of a multi-specialty office or hospital.
