Shea Nicole Parry, President, Owner and Speech-Language Pathologist at Elite Therapy Associates VNS, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in developmental disabilities.
Ms. Parry chose her career path after working for a pediatric neuropsychologist. Upon the office’s closing, Ms. Parry and her colleagues decided to open a therapy practice. Although this was not the direction she wanted to go in her professional endeavors, it ended up being the best decision for her career. She earned a Bachelor of Science in biology from Southern Nazarene University in 1995 and went on to attain a Master’s degree in education from the University of Central Oklahoma in 1997. From there, she received a Master of Science in speech-language pathology from the University of Oklahoma in 2001.
In her speech-language career, Ms. Parry is most proud when she gets positive feedback from her clients. She also takes great pride in being a mother. She began her career in 2001 as a speech-language pathologist and clinical fellow at Pinnacle Rehabilitation, where she remained until 2003. She also worked at Kingfisher Regional Hospital in 2002, until taking on the same role with Full Circle Developmental Center in 2013, remaining until 2017. Since 2017, she has been the president, owner and speech-language pathologist at Elite Therapy Associates. As a testament to her success, Ms. Parry was nominated for the Top 20 Speech-Language Pathologists in Oklahoma City in 2017.
