Marjorie Ann Dahler Graf, President of Graf & Sons Inc, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in specialty retail and entrepreneurship.
Since 1973, Ms. Graf has been the president and secretary of Graf & Sons, Inc., a family-owned business specializing in ammunition and shooting supplies. Founded in 1957 by the Graf family as an automotive service station, the business has grown to be known as “the reloading authority” and has become one of the largest trap shooting and ammunition companies in the United States. Ms. Graf became involved in the company after marrying her husband, Bob Graf, at the age of 18. At the time, Graf & Sons, Inc., was still an emerging business working to find its niche in the market and turn a consistent profit. Though involved in running the company, Ms. Graf spent the first 15 years of its operation also working in sales and service for Kaiser Refractories, then known as Mexico Refractories, to help support the family.
As president and secretary of Graf & Sons, Inc., Ms. Graf is responsible for overseeing all departments, managing growth, and handling customer service initiatives. She attributes the company’s success to her ability to anticipate inventory needs, forge long-lasting customer relationships and build rapport with clients. Ms. Graf explains her philosophy as “do the best you can in everything you do, be honest, and keep working, and it will become a way of life.” In 2019, Ms. Graf was inducted into the Missouri Trapshooting Hall of Fame after competing in Amateur Trapshooting Association events since the early 1980s. She is active in the area Chamber of Commerce, a longtime member of the Elks Club, and is a licensed private pilot and a skilled game hunter. In addition to her many professional successes, Ms. Graf is a proud mother of four, grandmother of five, and great-grandmother of 19.
