Holding a Bachelor of Fine Arts in media from Columbia College Chicago, which he received in 1992, Mr. Block has acted as the director of strategy partnerships and communication for the Elephant Soccer Club of Harlem since 2021. In 2013, he started as a strategic partnership consultant, emerging technology consultant and visionary consultant, and continues in this capacity into the present day. He previously served as a digital and social media content producer for nearly a decade, and found success as a quality assurance mobile application engineer for ScrollMotion from 2012 to 2013. Mr. Block began his career in 2001 as the director of new business and product development with MeadWestvaco Corporation, and subsequently held posts at SUMI Communications, JAB Images and Sonic Mobile.
From 2014 to 2017, Mr. Block maintained involvement as a soccer coach with Street Soccer USA. In his soccer career, he was selected to play in the New York City All Star Game, and has experience playing internationally in Russia, Denmark, Sweden, Holland and Czechoslovakia. Mr. Block has even participated in the Holland Cup and Gothia Cup.
In his spare time, Mr. Block enjoys playing not only soccer, but also hockey, and delights in spending time with his family. He believes that his straightforward and respectful personality is what separates him from his colleagues, and in the coming years, looks forward to the continued success of his current professional endeavors.
