Jacqueline Gudiel Novoa, Chief Executive Officer, Editor in Chief, and Publisher of NaturAlley Magazine, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in publishing and design.

Ms. Novoa is a graphic designer and the chief executive officer, publisher, and editor-in-chief of NaturAlley Magazine, a print and digital magazine dedicated to exploring integrative and holistic medicine. In publication since 2009, the magazine was inspired by Ms. Novoa’s experience with a period of sudden, severe illness that left her unable to do anything beyond working on her laptop in bed. She found healing through a combination of holistic and traditional medicine and established NaturAlley Magazine to share her journey and continue to explore the opportunities that exist outside conventional medicine. A native of El Salvador, Ms. Novoa’s family immigrated to the United States in the 1980s during a period of civil unrest and lived in San Francisco before moving to Louisiana. She holds an Associate of Arts in fashion merchandising and marketing from the Baton Rouge School of Computers and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in graphic design and photography from Louisiana State University.

Before launching NaturAlley Magazine, Ms. Novoa spent nearly 10 years as a freelance artist and graphic designer working in the print industry, and between 2001 and 2004, she was a senior graphic designer for Champions Printing & Publishing working on The Woodlands Magazine. She founded the NDesign Group in 2001, and would continue to produce work under the brand until 2015, and was the art director for Vida Americana Magazine from 2006 to 2010. Ms. Novoa briefly served as chief photographer for Global Air, Inc., from 2012 until 2013, as assistant art director for Mars Contractors Inc. and Brenda L. Hill, LLC from 2013 until 2014, and as a concept editor for VIP Design Magazine in 2016. Since 2016, she has been the art director and primary instructor for Brand Tutor, a brand development consultancy she established. Throughout her career, Ms. Novoa has been the recipient of numerous awards for her creative work, including two Awards of Excellence, a Quill Award of Merit, and a Communicator Award of Distinction, and has been a finalist for several others. In her spare time, she enjoys fencing and is a member of the United States Fencing Association.
