From listening to her father discuss the stock market in her youth, Ms. Foreman became interested in securities and finance. She commenced her career as assistant to the president of Gene Galasso Associates from 1965 to 1967 and as co-owner and operations manager of Efficient Business Services from 1967 to 1970. After experiencing an injury that limited her movement by a back brace, Ms. Foreman sought a new, inclusive opportunity, which she found with Manufacturers Life Insurance Co. in 1971 as their first U.S. female insurance agent. Until 1981, she excelled as a field representative and was honored as Associate of the Year in 1974. Progressing in her career, Ms. Foreman was vice president and director of training for the Life Underwriter Training Council from 1982 to 1985. Since 1985, she has worked as a professional fiduciary for a private practice in Fort Myers, Florida, in which she takes care of her client’s finances and serves as their trustee and power of attorney.
A chartered life underwriter and financial consultant, as well as a certified financial planner and trust and fiduciary advisor, Ms. Foreman earned a Master of Science in financial services from American College in 1980. Abundantly awarded for her successes, the National Association of Life Underwriters granted her the National Quality Award from 1973 to 1979 and the National Sales Achievement Award from 1973 to 1978. Named a Five Star Wealth Manager from 2011 to 2015, she is also the author of “Sales Builder,” “AIDS Strikes Home,” “Time Builder,” “Leaving Nothing to Chance” and more. Presently, Ms. Foreman maintains affiliation with the American Bell Association, Society of Financial Service Professionals, National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisers, Financial Planning Association of Southwest Florida, IBM-PC Users Group, Bnai Brith and Phi Sigma Sigma. To attest to her legacy, Ms. Foreman is also listed in the 25th edition of Who’s Who In Finance and Industry and the second and third editions of Who’s Who of Emerging Leaders in America.
