With more than three decades of practiced expertise in healthcare management, Ms. Sink has garnered a laudable reputation as the president of the University Hospitals Elyria Medical Center in Greater Cleveland, Ohio, since 2017, having previously served as the chief operating officer of the UH Pharma Medical Center between 2016 and 2017. In her current role as a senior healthcare executive, she is primarily responsible for managing the premier hospital system in her local area, and previously found success in a similar capacity for both the Bon Secours Health System and Sentara Healthcare in Virginia, as well as Mission Hospitals in Ashville, North Carolina. Throughout the course of her career in hospital leadership, Ms. Sink has managed oncology, ambulatory and ancillary services, and has provided strategic planning insight.

In a career suffused with highlights, Ms. Sink is most proud that the UH Elyria Medical Center was recognized as a Five Star Performing Hospital by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services in 2020, an accolade that is only extended to a small percentage of hospitals in the country. Additionally, the institution was listed by Healthgrades among the Top 250 Hospitals in 2019 and 2020. Personally, Ms. Sink was named as a Woman of Professional Excellence by the YWCA of Greater Cleveland in 2017.

Ms. Sink’s exemplary performance in the field was born of her academic journey, which began at Kenyon College, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in psychology in 1988. Following this accomplishment, she received a Master of Health Administration, with honors, from The Ohio State University in 1991. In recognition of her work, Ms. Sink was elected as a fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives. Looking toward the future, she hopes to open a new cancer center in her local community and to continue building strong relationships with every patient.
