Company: The Original Chubby’s Burger Drive Inn
Location: Denver, Colorado, United States
Danny Demis Cordova, president of The Original Chubby’s Burger Drive Inn, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in restaurant ownership.
A restaurateur and entrepreneur, Mr. Cordova has been the owner and president of The Original Chubby’s Burger Drive Inn since 2009. Opened in 1967 by Mr. Cordova’s mother, Stella, Chubby’s initially served only burgers but became a neighborhood staple by expanding to serve authentic Mexican food, ice cream, and more. Mr. Cordova began working at the family business at the age of 12 and has fond memories of helping his parents and learning the skills of the trade from them.
When Stella Cordova passed away in 2009, Mr. Cordova assumed sole ownership of the restaurant. He considers his work an important part of continuing his parents’ legacy and keeping a community tradition alive and does his best to “keep the business running right.” Chubby’s currently employs more than 40 people and is active in donating food and raising money for community service initiatives. It has been a Denver landmark for decades.
Mr. Cordova attributes his success to his mother’s dream and hard work, and to his team of employees who help keep the restaurant running smoothly. He takes great pride in the continued growth of his business and intends to keep it family-run and thriving for generations to come. Mr. Cordova is an active member of the area Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and enjoys doing projects to beautify his home and yard in his free time.
