Robert F. Zubrickie, Manager at TE Connectivity, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in the field of additive manufacturing.
Mr. Zubrickie celebrates more than four decades of expertise and has garnered a laudable reputation as the manager of TE Connectivity’s 3D Printing and Prototyping Center in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, a position he has held since 1989. In this capacity, he is responsible for corporate-level industrial 3D printing, as well as maintaining environmental, health, and safety protocols. Mr. Zubrickie first joined the staff of TE Connectivity, a consumer electronics company, in 1979, as a model shop worker. He also served as the president, chairman, secretary and international travel promotor of the Additive Manufacturing Users Group between 2003 and 2019.
Long dedicated to the efficacy and revolutionary potential of 3D printing technology, Mr. Zubrickie bears certification in SLA-190/250 basic training via 3D Systems Inc., and has completed additional coursework at the Harrisburg Area Community College and a technical school diploma. For his various accomplishments in the field since concluding his education, Mr. Zubrickie earned both a Presidential Award and the Dinosaur Award in Stereolithography from the Additive Manufacturing Users Group in 2010 and 2004, respectively.
Mr. Zubrickie has been interviewed by various media outlets, including Insomniac Media Inc., Plastics Engineering Magazine and by a local affiliate of ABC-TV about the potential of 3D printing technology. Furthermore, he was featured on the cover of the Central Pennsylvania Business Journal in 2019, and delivered the keynote address at the TecBridge Innovation Conference in 2016, where he received a letter of recognition. Mr. Zubrickie also spoke at the Materialize Innovation Forum in Belgium in 2007.
In accounting for his standout success, Mr. Zubrickie credits his zeal for innovation. Likewise, among his career accomplishments, he is most proud to have educated people on the uses of 3D printing, as well as inspiring them to succeed in their own professional journeys. Looking toward the future, Mr. Zubrickie hopes to assist in spurring more mainstream adoption of 3D printing technology.
