Raminder Grewal, P.Eng., President at Keystone Environmental Ltd., has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in environmental engineering.
Upon earning a Bachelor of Applied Science in environmental and geotechnical engineering from the University of British Columbia in 1998, Mr. Grewal subsequently commenced his career as an environmental engineer with Levelton Consultants Ltd., remaining until 2000. At this time, he joined Keystone Environmental Ltd., where he served as a project manager until 2007. Progressing in his skills and experience, he was appointed partner in 2007 and president in 2013, and continues to flourish in the two positions.
In his roles, Mr. Grewal ensures the company’s three technical groups are operating as needed, meets with clients to make sure they understand the client objectives and, internally, strives to ensure their culture remains a positive place of choice for employment. To remain abreast of his industry, he maintains professional affiliation with the Association of South Asian Professionals of British Columbia and TEC Canada. To add to his skill, he attained a Certificate in Project Management from the University of British Columbia in 2007.
Finding great success in his roles, Mr. Grewal has been named the EY Entrepreneur of the Year in 2018, 2019 and 2021 and Business Person of the Year by the City of Burnaby Business Excellence Award in 2018. In addition, he was listed to Business in Vancouver’s Top 40 Under 40 in 2013 and was the recipient of the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal in 2012. He attributes his success to building a team of dedicated and smart colleagues around him, as well as the influence of his grandparents and his mentors, including the founder of Keystone International Ltd., Bill Donald.
