Joy Cyprian, MA, CEO and Program Director at Joy’s Children’s Learning Center, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in childcare services.
Ms. Cyprian is a child development specialist and educational administrator who has dedicated more than three decades to working with children in daycare and private school settings. Since 2018, she has been the CEO and program director of Joy’s Children’s Learning Center, a child care center for students aged 2 through 6 years focusing on kindergarten readiness and fostering a love of learning. An alumna of Pacific Oaks College, Ms. Cyprian holds a Bachelor’s degree in human development and a Master’s degree in human development with a specialization in early childhood education and development. A former private school director and administrator for Volunteers of America with a background in Montessori education, Ms. Cyprian opened her first child care center, Joy’s Day Care, in 1992 after failing to find a high-quality and culturally-inclusive program to enroll her son in.
From 1998 until 2000, Ms. Cyprian was the director of Heights Christian Schools, and throughout her career, she has worked with state and local governments to help create and implement early childhood education standards. Ms. Cyprian is a member of the Child Care Planning Committee for Los Angeles County and sits on the board of several organizations, and was involved in implementing new programming at The Learning Center that became a pilot for California state preschool standards. She attributes her success to her lifelong passion for education and her dedication to creating a safe, supportive, and intellectually stimulating environment for young children to serve as a foundation for their future academic success. Ms. Cyprian has been named Business Woman of the Year, and is active in the National Association for the Education of Young Children and the Family for Mental Health Organization.
