Initially exploring a career in the field of law, he completed a bankruptcy law internship through the Bailey Law Firm in 2008 and a civil law internship through the South Carolina Attorney General’s Office in 2009 while working as a legal courier for Ellis, Lawhorne & Sims PA. Inspired to pursue a career in real estate by his father and grandfather, he earned a Bachelor of Arts in economics from Wofford College in 2011 and a real estate license from the South Carolina Real Estate Commission. In 2011, he became an associate of the South Carolina real estate firm Newmark, Grubb, Wilson & Kibler, rising to senior associate in 2017.
Having found success with Trinity Partners since 2019, Mr. Mills remains focused on retail brokerage sales and leasing, including a major Starbucks development project. For his many contributions in the field, he is honored to have been a recipient of the Power Broker Award for being the Top Retail Leasing Broker from Costar Group in 2016. He attributes his success to his ability to remain resourceful and the guidance of his network and mentors. Looking toward the future, his goal is to continue contributing to real estate development projects while earning properties beyond finding investors.
