Josh DeMarco, Hairstylist, International Educator and Co-Founder of DAPR Grooming Parlour, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in styling and education.
A devoted artist with a passion for helping others achieve success, Mr. DeMarco initially obtained a Bachelor of Arts in communications from West Chester University prior to completing coursework in cosmetology at the Aveda Institute. During this time, he is proud to have been recognized for his achievements as the valedictorian of his graduating class. Thereafter, he became certified in multiple advanced cutting and color courses, including Wella’s Cut Craft and Sassoon’s ABC’s. Today, he is proud to operate his multi-award-winning men’s salon in the prestigious Rittenhouse neighborhood of Center City, Philadelphia. Furthermore, he is grateful to have been exposed to a multitude of the world’s finest salon education opportunities, which has helped him craft his own unique skills behind the chair.
For his contributions in the field, Mr. DeMarco is honored to have been recognized as the first American citizen to claim the title of The Mentor: Best Emerging Talent by Esthetica Magazine. Additionally, he is regarded as one of the 100 Game Changers by Modern Salon Magazine and one of Philadelphia’s Best Men’s Hairstylists by Philadelphia Magazine. Furthermore, he is proud to have been presented with the Wella’s Trend Vision Award. Dedicated to his community, he is gratified to provide monthly haircuts for underprivileged children. Looking toward the future, he aims to continue growing his business while fully realizing his passion for establishing an academy for hairstyling.
