Dee Ann McIntyre, Director of State Affairs for the National Association, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in travel.
Ms. McIntyre began her career as an administrative assistant to the House Minority Leader in the Kansas House of Representatives. In this role, she moved license plate manufacturing from Lansing Prison to an organization called Center Industries. She is proud to have employed a great percentage of the disabled population. Today, she maintains a contract with Boeing to construct window panels for 737 planes. Supplementing her professional career, she has found success as a board member of the Cerebral Palsy Alliance Research Foundation and the New Mexico School for the Arts and an advisory committee member of the National Museum of Women in the Arts.
Ms. McIntyre is gratified to have since retired from her lobbying and state legislative duties. Interested in Pre-Columbian art and travel, Ms. she is happy to divide her time between homes in Santa Fe, Chicago, Wichita and Merida, Mexico. Moreover, she has studied in areas such as India, Japan, Vietnam, China, Egypt and a multitude of European countries. Above all, New Zealand, Australia and South and Central America are her favorite places to visit. Looking toward the future, she is set to visit Sicily and Malta.
