Henry Lawrence Sanderson III, Chief Financial Officer of Warren Oil Company, Inc., has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in accounting and manufacturing.
Prior to becoming a certified public accountant, Mr. Sanderson initially obtained a Bachelor of Science in business administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1974. He initially began his career with Warren Oil Company, Inc. as the chief financial officer, holding the position from 1988 to 1999. Thereafter, he found notable success with Meryll Lynch between 1999 and 2003. He returned to his position as the chief financial officer of Warren Oil Company Inc. in 2003. In this role, he regularly oversees the accounting and IT departments while regulating a multitude of insurance issues.
Though his career has been suffused with highlights, Mr. Sanderson is most proud to have spearheaded the closing of acquired plants that made Warren Oil Company the largest family-owned petroleum business in the United States. In an effort to remain abreast with advancements in the field, he has maintained professional affiliations with the American Institute of CPAs and the North Carolina Association of CPAs. Above all, he attributes his success to his stellar work ethic and his ability to critically analyze situations and make educational decisions. Looking toward the future, he aims to travel the world while spending quality time with his family and grandchildren.
