Paul E. Johnson Jr., CEO and Founder of Redirect Health, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in health insurance.

Mr. Johnson is the co-founder and CEO of Redirect Health, a health insurance provider that partners to provide businesses with affordable employee benefit plans. A serial entrepreneur, Mr. Johnson was the creator of multimillion-dollar companies in telecom and real estate before entering the healthcare industry, with a portfolio including Southwest Next, LLC, the Greater Phoenix Economic Council, and Old World Communities, LLC. He was active on the Board of Directors of Old World Communities from 2000 until 2014 and CoBiz Financial from 2012 until 2014, and continues to serve as a manager for Southwest Next Capital Management. In addition to his business ventures, Mr. Johnson has enjoyed a successful career in Arizona politics, sitting on the Phoenix City Council from 1985 until 1990, and was elected the city’s youngest-ever mayor in 1993.

Mr. Johnson has studied history at Arizona State University, holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Phoenix and was enrolled in the Harvard Kennedy School executive Program on American Government and Politics. He has been presented with numerous awards for his work with Redirect Health, and was named one of the 2016 Top 16 People To Watch in Arizona and one of Arizona’s Most Admired Leaders by a regional business publication. Mr. Johnson is chair of the Board of Directors of Arrowhead Health Centers and chair of the City of Phoenix Bond Commission, has held leadership roles with the John C. Lincoln Hospital Foundation and the Greater Phoenix Economic Commission, and has been a featured speaker at the National Conference for Independents.
