Sherman G. Miller, president and CEO at Multicom, Inc., has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in business.

Since 1982, Mr. Miller has been the president and Chief Executive Officer of Multicom, Inc., an end-to-end provider of telecommunications solutions. Initially started in Mr. Miller’s garage, Multicom, Inc. has grown to offer more than 20,000 unique products to clients in more than 20 countries. In addition to overseeing the company’s financial functions and marketing direction, Mr. Miller remains active in daily operations and employee guidance, and he is proud to have retained a number of employees for over 20 years. 

Prior to starting Multicom, Inc., Mr. Miller worked with GTE Sylvania and General Electric as a program manager for large-scale government contracts. He holds a Bachelor of Science in business administration from Boston University, and entered the United States Air Force after graduation. Mr. Miller served as an aircraft engineer from 1955 until 1966, reaching the rank of Captain. In recognition of his service, Multicom, Inc. was certified as a Service Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business in 2018.

Mr. Miller attributes his success to his curiosity, leadership skills, and dedication to growth, and is committed to helping the entire Multicom, Inc. team stay at the cutting edge of the field. Among other honors, he is the recipient of a 1989 President’s E Award for excellence in exporting, and was named one of the Orlando Business Journal’s 2020 Veterans of Influence. He is active in the Department of Commerce District Export Council and is a former member of the board of the Orlando Chamber of Commerce and the World Trade Center Orlando. Outside his work in business, Mr. Miller is committed to philanthropy and is the founder of the Thelma Schefner Miller Foundation, a charitable organization created in memory of his first wife.
