In this post, his main responsibilities involve managing the two parts of their operation, including human research and neurology clinic, as well as managing the staff and the financial work related to the practice. Mr. D’Amario builds off prior experience working with the Healthcare Distribution Alliance (HAD), New York State Nurses Association, Corporate Health Dimensions and Atria Senior Living. In addition, he has also been involved in fundraising with the Epilepsy Foundation and the American Red Cross.
Reflecting upon his career, Mr. D’Amario considers his most notable achievement was receiving an award while with the HAD, along with recognition while he was involved in the National Society of Patient Advocates. To remain abreast of his industry, he holds professional affiliation with the National Patient Advocate Foundation, the American Society of Healthcare Managers, the Alzheimer’s Disease Association and the Global Alzheimer’s Disease Platform, as well as the Chamber of Commerce in Albany. Mr. D’Amario earned a Bachelor of Arts from Union College and a Master of Arts from the University of Albany Rockefeller College of Public Affairs.
