Joseph C. Collins, President at Molecular Presentations Inc., has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in chemical research.
Mr. Collins has flourished in the field of medical chemistry for more than five decades. His research into the structuring properties of surface water in the living cell and his detailed analysis of three-dimensional models of natural molecules have assisted in the development of new drugs and his extensive work is included in organic chemistry texts.
After obtaining a Doctor of Philosophy in organic and physical chemistry from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Mr. Collins prospered as an associate professor and chairman of the chemistry department with Illinois Wesleyan University in Bloomington from 1963 to 1968. He thereupon became vice president of the chemistry division at Sterling Winthrop Research Institute in Rensselaer, New York in 1977 and vice president of technical affairs for Sterling Drug Corporation in 1981.
Mr. Collins has found success as the president of Molecular Presentations, Inc. since 1991 and has published “The Matrix of Life” and “Water: The Vital Force of Life” which expound on his findings regarding hydration on molecules and between ions in living cells.
