Joshua R. Thomas, President of CDA Auto Care, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in automotive care and maintenance.
Since 2001, Mr. Thomas has been the president of CDA Auto Care, an automotive service and repair company serving clients in Hayden, Idaho. As company president, Mr. Thomas is responsible for all business development and administrative functions, as well as quality assurance for all services provided. Raised on a cattle ranch, Mr. Thomas developed an interest in cars at a young age, and was inspired to pursue a career as an auto mechanic by his father, who had worked in the industry.
Mr. Thomas earned an associate’s degree in automotive mechanic technology from North Idaho College in 2001, building on the skills that he had already developed from working with his father. As a technician, his work focused on electrical diagnostics and maintenance of computer-controlled vehicle systems. He credits his early success as a business owner to his motivation and marketing savvy, explaining that his Internet presence was key to building word of mouth.
CDA Auto Care has been voted the Best In North Idaho four years in a row, and Mr. Thomas is active in the Automotive Service Association and TechNext, Inc. He hopes to continue to grow as a business leader, and looks forward to opening another location within five years. In his personal time, Mr. Thomas is active in the community as a volunteer coach for the Lakeland Wrestling Club and a member of the North Idaho College Advisory Committee.
