Backed by an Associate of Applied Science in civil engineering and construction science from Prairie View A&M University from 2014, he attained his real estate license in 2016 from the Texas Real Estate Commission, just one year after joining Peek Realty & Property Management. Subsequently, he went on to serve as a realtor with Keller Williams Signature in Katy, Texas for six months and with CitiQuest Properties in Houston, Texas from 2016 to 2020. Since 2020, Mr. Ballenger has excelled as the chief executive officer and realtor of Wynnwood based in Houston, specializing in new construction. To remain abreast of his field, he maintains professional affiliation with the Greater Houston Builders Association, Urban Land Institute, Houston Association of Realtors, National Association of Realtors and Texas Association of Realtors.
Reflecting on his notable career, Mr. Ballenger considers his most notable achievement was becoming the top producing agent 18 months after he joined the brokerage. Earlier, he had been named Top Producer of the Month of October 2019 by the Houston Association of Realtors, as well as a candidate for the Top 40 Under 40 of the Houston Business Journal. Mr. Ballenger has also accepted multiple awards from Citiquest Properties, including the Top Producing Award and Most Valuable Player Award in 2018, having also been named Top Producer of the Year and Rookie of the Year in 2017. He attributes his success to commitment and consistency, noting he has always made sure to deliver on what he says he will do. In five years’ time, Mr. Ballenger aims to be one of Houston’s top real estate firms, capable of providing a turnkey service to their developers, builders, and investors and eventually branching out into the land development and multifamily divisions.
