Jonathan J. Shroyer, Co-Founder at Officium Labs, Inc., has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in entrepreneurship.
Mr. Shroyer obtained a Bachelor of Science in management from the University of Phoenix in 2008. He is widely experienced as a customer service professional for over 20 years, gaining valuable initial experience from 1999 to 2002 with the workforce management office of Convergys, a customer management and information management products company in its Salt Lake City office. He thereupon excelled from 2002 to 2011 in the finance office and as senior group manager of global outsourcing services with Microsoft and Monster Worldwide in Seattle, Boston and the United Kingdom. Mr. Shroyer then prospered as senior director of customer insight and advocacy with Symantec, the cybersecurity software and services firm, in its Reading, England office from 2011 to 2013.
After providing excellent service as director of IT end-user customer services with Autodesk in San Francisco from 2013 to 2014, Mr. Shroyer served from 2014 to 2019 as vice president of customer service with Postmates, Inc., of player retention and customer services with Kabam, an interactive entertainment company, and of customer success with education services company Forte Labs, Inc.
In 2019, Mr. Shroyer co-founded Officium Labs, a decentralized network of thought leaders and innovators who help companies create best-in-class service experiences for their customers whose diverse team features members from every geography, with backgrounds spanning industries such as gaming, telehealth, and on-demand delivery services. The firm has been listed in 20 Companies to Watch in 2021 by Executive Headlines, 50 Most Innovative Companies by CIO Bullets, 20 Small Companies to Watch by Silicon Review, and Mr. Shroyer has received an Entrepreneur of the Year award by the Global Choice Awards.
As a career highlight, Mr. Shroyer considers co-founding Officium Labs, growing the business from zero revenue to $10 million in revenue based on an initial $150,000 loan. In the coming years, he hopes to continue to scale and grow the business to eventually either keep it private or be acquired by a larger company to help them scale faster, or to be an IPO (Initial Public Offering) to offer their shares publicly in order to raise capital from public investors. Mr. Shroyer also hopes to continue to create business models that are beneficial to workers and try to work with NGOs to help local communities be successful. Lastly, as a father, he intends to spend more time with his son and be the best father that he can be.
