Peter Huessy, President at GeoStrategic Analysis, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in defense consulting.
Since 1982, Mr. Huessy has provided exemplary service as president of defense consulting firm Geostrategic Analysis and starting in 2022 as Senior Defense Fellow at the Hudson Institute and Visiting Fellow at the Atlantic Council. Previously, he had excelled as assistant for international energy affairs and state relations to the Secretary of Interior from 1980 to 1981, a defense consultant with the Institute for Foreign Policy Analysis from 1983-89, as a Senior Defense Consultant for 22 years with the National Defense University Foundation, which aids in ensuring the United States’ collective and international security and supports military education, and a Senior Defense Consultant at the Air Force Association from 2011 to 2021,
Mr. Huessy counts among his areas of expertise nuclear modernization, missile defense, nuclear deterrence, space policy, proliferation, arms control, energy, demography and population and immigration policy, terrorism, and counterterrorism. Mr. Huessy has made an impact in developing and implementing public policy campaigns to secure support for important national security objectives, and has published articles regularly in the Washington Times, the Gatestone Institute, The National Institute, Maven Warrior, The Hill, Human Events, National Review, Fox News and Frontiers of Freedom. He frequently appears as a guest on CBS’s Eye on the World radio show with John Batchelor and every Saturday on the Don Smith syndicated radio programs speaking on the week’s national security developments.
Mr. Huessy obtained a master’s degree, magna cum laude, in international affairs and public diplomacy from Columbia University in New York in 1975. He also holds Bachelor of Science in international relations, national security studies and anthropology from Beloit College, Wisconsin, and a degree in national security studies from the international division of Yonsei University, Seoul, South Korea. Mr. Huessy has won a Lifetime Achievement Award from the National Defense Industry Association and served as a senior fellow with the Gatestone Institute, the Jewish Institute for National Security of America (JINSA) and the American Foreign Policy Council (AFPC). In the coming years, he would like to continue his success with GeoStrategic Analysis and also continue to write and make television appearances.
