Since 2016, Mr. Binder has been a real estate broker with 21st Century Realty Services, a Jacksonville-based real estate firm specializing in residential properties. A lifelong entrepreneur, Mr. Binder was first encouraged to pursue business ownership by his uncles, and discovered his passion for real estate more than 25 years ago while working with a broker on the purchase of his own home. After graduating from Cedar Shoals High School in 1987, Mr. Binder joined the United States Navy, where he served proudly at bases in Guam and the United Arab Emirates as well as through Operation Desert Storm.
In 1996, Mr. Binder was honorably discharged from military service to pursue his interest in business. One of his first investments was Signature Styles Hair Salon, where he has been an active owner for more than three decades. He joined 21st Century Realty as an agent in 2000, and spent 16 years broadening his knowledge of the industry and the area before transitioning to a broker role in 2016. He is a licensed real estate broker in the state of Florida, and takes pride in the exceptional customer service skills that he has developed throughout his career.
At 21st Century Realty, Mr. Binder is responsible for supervising contracts, scheduling, and administrative functions as well as overseeing the company’s real estate agents. He attributes his success to his natural determination and to the skills and work ethic he learned from mentors, including Bruce Perkins, Fred Walters and Shelby H. Mapp. In the coming years, Mr. Binder looks forward to continuing to build his real estate business and expanding his entrepreneurial efforts to include other businesses.
