Presently, Ms. Davis is providing superior service as executive assistant to the president with the American Postal Workers Union (APWU), an organization representing over 200,000 employees and retirees of the United States Postal Service who belong to the Clerk, Maintenance, Motor Vehicle, and Support Services divisions, and also represents approximately 2,000 private-sector mail workers. Formerly, Ms. Davis served as an elected secretary-treasurer with the APWU, with which she has been associated for over three decades.
Ms. Davis prepared for her career with bachelor’s degrees in communications and biblical counseling and is a certified paralegal. She attributes her success to her problem-solving skills, getting to the core of the problem and being a team player. In coming years, Ms. Diamond intends to experience continued personal and professional growth and would like to serve her community and others by mentoring and becoming a life coach. She would like to be thought of as someone who cared about others and tried to make their lives better.
