Nada Salem, President at American Foundation for Educational Excellence, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in education, empowerment and language training.

Since 2015, Ms. Salem has flourished as President and Chief Executive Officer of the American Foundation for Educational Excellence (AFEE), an organization whose mission is to assist influencers, leaders, managers of educational institutions, profit and non-profit organizations and corporations, to pursue excellence. AFEE’s programs include improving leadership skills and managerial competencies, building new programs to better match local demand and implementing a better incorporation of technology.

In addition, Ms. Salem also established the International Foundation for Women’s Empowerment (IFWE) and the Center for Excellence in Languages (CEL). IFWE seeks to empower women and help them thrive, both on the personal and professional levels, regardless of nationality, religion and political affiliation; CEL seeks to provide excellence in teaching, editing, translating and interpreting different languages.

After obtaining a Bachelor of Arts in languages from the St. Joseph University of Beirut and a Master of Arts in teaching English as a foreign language from the American University of Beirut, Ms. Salem immigrated to the United States and completed almost all coursework toward an Education Doctorate in Curriculum and Instruction at the George Washington University Graduate School of Education. Ms. Salem also earned, in 2019, an Executive Certificate in Public Leadership from the Harvard Kennedy School of Government, Executive Education.

Fluent in French and Arabic as well, Ms. Salem has created the framework for a forthcoming honor society known as the International Society for Educational Excellence (ISEE); she plans to fight corruption through ethics, fight bad leadership that seeks to be served by instilling servant leadership, and fight poverty.
