David Lee Vornholt, Chief Executive Officer and President at Riverside Enterprises Corporation, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in aviation.

A distinguished aviation professional, Mr. Vornholt currently excels in his role as chief executive officer and president of Riverside Enterprises Corporation. In the corporate aviation sphere, he works with large companies that have their own private airplanes, having served as an aviation manager for Roger Penske. Mr. Vornholt was inspired to enter the aviation industry by the influence of Nelson Roakes, who talked about a world that he did not know had existed. Intrigued by this thought, he sought a career in the field, learned to fly at Cincinnati Lunken Airport and has never looked back since.

Graduating from high school in 1962, Mr. Vornholt studied psychology during his undergraduate years at the Ohio State University and attained a bachelor’s degree in 2003. In addition to his primary role, he serves as treasurer of a History Enrichment Program, having also received the opportunities to sit on the board of directors of the National Aviation Hall of Fame and the National Business Aviation Association. In 2009, he was the first recipient of the National Business Aviation Association Award and attributes his success to his parents. Now in his late 70s, Mr. Vornholt continues to promote business aviation and looks forward to venturing into storytelling, which he plans to accomplish by way of self-publishing online.
