His responsibilities include nationally overseeing food safety compliance for the departments and stores, purchasing, setting retails in their system, retail pricing in their systems, hiring associates and staff, budgeting, sales reports and site visits throughout Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
According to Mr. Toth, his success can be attributed to hard work, self-study, and learning from his peers, along with the opportunities for progress provided by the companies he has worked for. He began with a previous company as a butcher and meat cutter and found opportunities for significant advancement with McCaffrey’s. He also credits his immigrant parents, who raised him to have a strong work ethic and sense of responsibility. In the coming years, he is looking forward to a well-deserved retirement but is leaving the door open to consulting work.
