Lee Robinson, Vice President at Wells Fargo, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in sales innovation.

After obtaining a Bachelor of Science in business administration and marketing from San Diego State University in 1993, Mr. Robinson prospered as an area manager and division trainer with Yum! Brands, the American fast-food corporation that operates the brands KFC, Pizza Hut, and Taco Bell, from 1993 to 2000. There, he generated marketing and promotional programs, recruited and trained staff, monitored controllable costs, and ensured compliance with corporate health and safety standards. Additionally, he increased sales volume at all stores an average of 23% annually and was an Eagle Award Winner for spearheading the #1 region in sales and profit growth out of 56 areas in the western United States.

As district manager with Jack In The Box restaurants from 1999 to 2001, Mr. Robinson directed activities of up to 17 business units with over 100 managers and 500 employees and was responsible for $27 million annual revenue, achieving the company’s Circle of Excellence status. With Paychex, the provider of human resource, payroll, and benefits outsourcing services, Mr. Robinson provided superior service as senior district sales manager from 2001 to 2011, leading a 12-member team of sales representatives focused on increasing sales through traditional sales activities, networking, and referrals from clients, accountants, and banks. His team developed effective programs that increased the District’s percentage of accountant referral business from 22% to 38% and bank referral business from 4% to 23%.

Mr. Robinson joined financial services firm Wells Fargo as a market sales manager in 2011 and increased sales by 31% year over year, tripled sales from Business Banking Group from $19 million in 2011 to $62 million in 2012, Developed effective programs that increased the market department’s percentage of bank referrals from 27% to 37%. He was promoted to vice president in 2017 and vertical markets specialist manager in 2021, building teams for multiple vertical markets, collaborates with strategy, products, developers, and sales enablement departments to help Wells Fargo’s business sales consultants win more customers over with new products and innovation. He has led the firm’s Southern California region for the last three years as one of the top regions in helping the most customers with Clover products and options.

Attributing his success to being self-driven since his childhood, Mr. Robinson cites the example of his mother, who was diagnosed with a life-threatening illness and was given six months to live. She went to Stanford University so she could use the medical library and research how to use imagery, or the power of the mind, to cure herself. She survived her illness and started a non-profit group in San Francisco benefiting AIDS patients. Mr. Robinson maintains that his most notable achievement has been leading a team that has been the top region division market for three years running, and in the next few years hopes to lead Wells Fargo in digital technology innovation.
