Sim Shain, Chief Executive Officer at ParaFlight Aviation, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in emergency transportation.

Since 2010, Mr. Shain has helmed ParaFlight Emergency Medical Services, a full-service medical transport company that he founded, providing care and service to patients and medical teams worldwide, transporting patients and teams from tertiary care facilities, hospital to hospital, or any other destination across the United States and beyond. In 2020, Mr. Shain founded Organ Flights, which provides organ procurement organizations and transplant centers with full “attention to detail” air and ground transportation to ensure the most efficient transfer of organs and transplant teams nationwide.

After obtaining a Bachelor of Talmudic Studies in 1991 from the Talmudical Academy of Central New Jersey in Howell Township, Mr. Shain began his career as an emergency medical technician in 1996 with Hatzolah EMS and continues his service there and with RJW Barnabas, one of the largest providers of advanced life support in New Jersey. Since 2009, he has additionally prospered as director of strategic partnerships with Banquest Payment Systems in Lakewood.

Mr. Shain is certified as a commercial medical escort by the Medical Escort Association, as a flight paramedic by ParaFlight EMS and Aviation, as a nationally registered paramedic by the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians and as a paramedic by the New Jersey Department of Health. In addition, his professional memberships include the Lakewood Water Rescue Team, New Jersey Sharing Network, United Hatzalah of Israel, ZAKA Search and Rescue, The Special Children Center, Camp Simcha, the International Association of Fire Fighters, the International Association of Flight and Critical Care Paramedics and the National Business Aviation Association. He considers his most notable achievement to be able to give back to the community. In the coming years, Mr. Shain would like to create alliances with the biggest jet operations in the country so that he can operate 24/7 and save lives.
