Location: Saint Louis, Missouri, United States
Edin Coralic, Owner at Coralic Architecture, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in architecture.
From watching his father excel as a construction manager for 35 years, Mr. Coralic was naturally exposed to the construction field and ultimately found his niche in architecture. He went on to earn an Associate of Applied Sciences in architectural sciences and technology from St. Louis Community College in 2003 and completed an internship with Hampton Architecture Limited. Subsequently, Mr. Coralic attained a Bachelor of Technology in architecture from Washington University in St. Louis in 2007.
Progressing in his career, Mr. Coralic took on his first professional role in the field as a project coordinator with Treanor Architects in 2007. One year later, he joined Zwick + Gandt Architecture, Inc. as a project architect, remaining until 2013 when he spearheded his firm, Coralic Architecture. Specialzing in commercial design, including quick service restaurants, coffee shops, he has also dabbled in retail, the rehabilitation of existing shopping centers, school and educational work and some residential work. In addition, from 2003 to 2011, Mr. Coralic had worked as front office staff such as a valet and bellman for the Westin in St. Louis.
Reflecting upon his career, Mr. Coralic considers his most notable achievement was receiving an award for his involvement with the nine-mile garden project, a food truck venue in a park setting with a budget of under $10 million. Additionally, he is proud of the Aston Plaza redevelopment project, in which he revitalized and reconstructed an old shopping center. Three years later, the whole center is fully leased. Notably, Mr. Coralic was the recipient of an award from the St. Louis Business Journal in 2021. He attributes his success to his passion and dedication to his work.
To remain abreast of his industry, Mr. Coralic maintains professional affiliation with the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards. With this, he is pursuing licenses in the states of Nebraska and Washington, as he is currently licensed in Missouri, Illinois, Kansas, Arkansas, Iowa, Oklahoma, Texas, Arizona, Utah, Colorado, Florida and South Carolina. Looking toward the future, Mr. Coralic hopes to keep growing professionally and continue his work as an architect. He looks forward to upcoming ventures with new clients, such as Dutch Bros. In his spare time, he enjoys watching soccer and, of course, looking at building during walks.
