Since 2018, Mr. Ginopoulos has excelled as director of construction, Restaurant and Retail Division with ORIGIN Construction, a premier contractor in corporate office interiors, ground-up commercial buildings, retail, and restaurant buildouts for some of Florida’s most recognizable brands over the past 20 years. The firm has completed real estate projects totaling more than 10 million square feet. With ORIGIN, Mr. Ginopoulos oversees several teams, leads client business development, estimates projects, negotiates and closes projects with clients and turns over projects to project team and monitors their production and performance through the course of construction.
Previously, following eight years in the restaurant business, Mr. Ginopoulos provided superior service as vice president of operations with Shakman Construction Company in Boca Raton from 1993 to 2001 and as director of project management and estimating for RCC Associates in Deerfield Beach from 2005 to 2007. He owned and operated Great Patriot Construction Services, LLC in Boca Raton from 2007 to 2018.
Throughout Mr. Ginopoulos’ career, his most notable achievement was the American Airlines Arena in Miami, for which he constructed the interiors, a 22-month-project that deployed 1,200 workers per day. In all, he has built 200 restaurants and 50 retail stores during the last 36 years of his career, with his specialty in high-end retail enterprises. In the coming years, Mr. Ginopoulos would like to become a construction consultant.
