In addition, Mr. Ismail helms De Line IT Corp., a premier software firm committed to ensuring a seamless process of supervising and maintaining a myriad of information technology (IT) resources; DeLune Health, a division of De Lune IT Corp. situated in Springfield and offering a full spectrum of medical practice management services designed to enhance the performance and effectiveness of practice; and DeLune Energy.
Following earning a bachelor’s degree in management from the National Institute of Business Management in Colombo, Sri Lanka, Mr. Ismail obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in 1998 from St. Peter’s College in Colombo and a postgraduate diploma in business administration in 2003 from the Institute of Technological Studies. He continued his education with an MBA in international business in 2005 from the University of East London.
Mr. Ismail provided superior service as manager of projects from 1998 to 2003 with, MTV/MBC Channels Pvt. Ltd., Capital Maharaja Organization in Colombo and account manager with Sunrise Radio London in 2005. He followed as Director of Sales, Commercial Lynks Inc., privately-owned international trading company in Alexandria, Virginia that specializes in delivering containerized and bulk shipments of value-added agricultural commodities to customers worldwide. In addition to his work with DeLune, Mr. Ismail has prospered since 2016 as president of 1-833BUYEGGS, delivering eggs and farm products with unparalleled customer service to local businesses and restaurants in Washington, D.C., Maryland and Virginia, and of Mr. Pod’s, which brings its customers a wide selection of the highest-quality ingredients including organic offerings that are grown and processed without the use of synthetic pesticides, fertilizers and growth hormones.
Mr. Ismail attributes all his professional success to hard work and dedication. He is most proud of establishing a program called Sharing the Love, which is a charity initiative of his company that provides milk, bread and tens of thousands of eggs for families in the community every year, partnering with other charities to respond to the needs of the community. They have established helped 250 food banks and churches over the years, especially during the peak of the pandemic.
