Mark Glass, Project Executive and Senior Construction Manager at Concord Pacific, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in construction management.

Since 2020, Mr. Glass has found much success as a project executive and senior construction manager for Concord Pacific, the largest builder of high-rise communities in Canada, which has constructed Concord Pacific Place in Vancouver, Concord CityPlace in Toronto, completed over 150 residential and mixed use buildings and is now expanding to the United Kingdom.

Mr. Glass obtained an associate degree in business law from Bellevue Community College in Bellevue, Washington and an associate degree in real estate law from North Seattle Community College. He later took coursework in business law from the University of Washington in Seattle and master’s degree coursework at Rutgers University.

Mr. Glass has enjoyed a more than three-decade career in construction management. He excelled as project manager, senior project manager and vice president from 1986 to 2003 with WG Clark; and construction manager and general superintendent with Cristalla LLC from 2003 to 2005. He subsequently prospered as construction manager and general superintendent with Trammel Crow Residential in Bellevue from 2005 to 2007; senior development manager with Schnitzer West LLC in Seattle from 2007 to 2010; construction manager and general superintendent with TRICO Contracting, Inc., in Seattle from 2010 to 2011; national accounts project director and business development director with McKinstry Co. from 2011 to 2014;  senior construction manager with PCL Construction from 2014 to 2015; construction manager, consultant, pre-construction, construction and development management with MTG Consulting, LLC from 2015 to 2018 and senior development manager with Schnitzer West LLC from 2018 to 2020.

Mr. Glass has accrued numerous construction industry honors including mixed-use Project of the Year in the Northwest, American Institute of Architects (AIA) Building of the Year and Concrete Building of the Year from the American Concrete Institute. His professional memberships include the American Concrete Institute, Washington Aggregate and Concrete Association and AGC of Washington.

Attributing his success to hard work, dedication and perseverance, Mr. Glass became involved in his profession because of his interest in building and development. In the 1970s, he started working as a carpenter in the REI Cabinet Shop and from there, he was able to advance in his job position from carpenter to foreman, to superintendent, to project manager, to the owner of several different companies over the years to now the senior construction manager of Concord Pacific. Building construction management teams is most appealing to him in his job position, along with the opportunity to support and mentor each and every one of his team members to help them be the best they can be.

Having the opportunity to work on monumental and challenging projects in Bellevue, Seattle and Denver in the past two decades has been Mr. Glass’s most notable accomplishment. Evolving with technology and staying current is something that is very important to him. He also takes great pride in his involvement in building and developing highly-technological buildings and structures in the area.

Currently, Mr. Glass is involved in a five-year project called Seattle House with Concord Pacific, which is worth $500 million. It will feature two 45-story towers which are 48-stories tall over an 8-story garage, 1.275 million square feet with 1,132 residential homes.
