Ms. Mersch is the author of dozens of books and a former information systems specialist who has served as the chair of multiple committees and won numerous national and international awards for civic and literary contributions. She received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Oklahoma State University in 1970. She is the co-owner of Falcon Advanced Brake Systems LLC in Tulsa, Oklahoma and the president and founder of ProvidenceWorks LLC. Previously, she served as the president of Mersch -Bacher Associates and as the director of information technology with the Reading & Bates Corporation and the Williams Co mpanies. Ms. Mersch was the director for management information systems with Agrico Chemical Company and a Systems Consultant, Senior Systems Analyst and Programmer for Rockwell International
Ms. Mersch is an investigative journalist and author of thought-provoking titles such as “Undaunted: The Unflinching Faith, Audacity and Ultimate Betrayal of an American Legend,” “Guilty When Black: One Girl’s Journey Down the Twisted Road of Injustice & The Atrocities of Female Incarceration,” “The Apostles of Apo llo: The Journey of the Bible to the Moon and the Untold Stories of America’s Race into Space” and “A Year of Promise: 365 Days of Inspiration to Guide your Day & Guide Your Way,” among dozens of other non-fiction books and articles. These works have received multiple awards and honors, including IBM International Awards for Community Service in Website Development. Ms. Mersch also devotes time to subjects such as quantum physics, criminal justice, and space artifacts. She has appeared on BBC, MSNBC, CNN Faith, Fox Business News, Associated Press, NYTimes, USA Today, and Al Jazeera’s “America Tonight.”
Ms. Mersch also served on the board of directors for the United Way Venture Grant. One of her great career moments came after she heard a talk from an Apollo 14 astronaut, which led her to get involved in the efforts to land the first Bible on the moon and has since become the designated expert on lunar Bibles in the U.S. Being a single mother drove her forward in her career, leading her to sell her successful IT company and pursue other fields, including journalism, the automotive industry, and outer space. Ms. Mersch was previously featured in several editions of the Who’s Who in Finance and Industry.
