Since 2021, Ms. Rother has prospered as president of Frios Gourmet Pops, a premier mobile franchise company based in Mobile that sells gourmet popsicles from tie-dye wrapped vans. Adopting the phrase “Happiness on a Stick!” it has experienced considerable growth in recent years. Ms. Rother is primarily responsible for operations training, franchise support, and franchise development. In addition, since 2020 she has also excelled as vice president of franchise development with Scenthound, a highly rated canine grooming service based in Jupiter, Florida.
Ms. Rother obtained a Bachelor of Science in psychology in 2008 from Messiah College in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania. She provided superior service as assistant training manager from 2003 to 2010 with Panera Bread, where she assisted in opening all new restaurants in Colorado and helped train all new salaried managers during their seven-week training program. With Noodles & Co. in Broomfield, Colorado from 2010 to 2016, she made an impact as general manager and then vice president of franchise sales and operations, during which time she led the highest revenue restaurant in western Colorado with a team of 35 team members and five managers and headed up all recruiting, hiring, training and development, and oversaw all franchise groups while also responsible for franchise sales management and lead generation.
Subsequently, Ms. Rother served as senior director of franchise development with Garbanzo Mediterranean Fresh in the Denver region from 2016 to 2018, where she created all development assets including but not limited to a new development packet for traditional and non-traditional locations, a real estate packet for landlords, a new franchise website still in development, a new store opening process and procedure, a site selection process, and more. With Blink Fitness in New York from 2018 to 2020, Ms. Rother led a team and secured 130+ units in two years with a mix of small and large deals as well as recreated the franchise qualification process.
Named one of the Female Fast Risers by Franchise Update Media, Ms. Rother maintains her career highlight was making the leap from general manager to vice president of franchise sales and operations with Noodles & Co. She has maintained relations with many of the managers and franchisers she has been able to mentor over the years. In the coming years, her goal is for Frios Gourmet Pops to be a portfolio brand. Ms. Rother further aims to create a work-life balance as a mother and to make sure to create joy in the world through the brand.
