Mr. Oginski studied at the AGH University of Science and Technology in Krakow, Poland from 1985 to 1989, graduating with a bachelor’s degree in mining engineering. He subsequently moved to the United States and attended the University of Texas at Arlington, earning his master’s degree. Since 1997, he has been a project manager for J.F. Shea Construction. Previously, he worked as a labor equipment operator and a field engineer. His areas of expertise includes the management of construction projects, staff, resources, equipment and finances.

Growing up near the coal mines of southern Poland inspired Mr. Oginski at a young age. He studied mining engineering in school, learning skills and gaining knowledge that is crucial to the construction industry. He secured his first job in the United States after applying to a mining position on a tunnel project in Dallas, Texas. He has traveled throughout the United States to work on various large-scale projects in Arkansas, California, Kentucky, Massachusetts, Oregon, New York and elsewhere. He attributes his success to being detail-oriented, strategic planning, hard work and determination.
