Katerina Vasilyeva, President and Chief Executive Officer at VK Property Management, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in real estate management.
Before embarking upon her professional journey, Ms. Vasilyeva earned an Associate of Science in engineering science from the Voronezh State University of Engineering Science in 2005 and went on to attain an Associate of Science in mathematics and computer science from the Borough of Manhattan Community College in 2009. She also earned a Bachelor of Science in business administration and finance from Columbia Southern University in 2021. Well qualified in her field, Ms. Vasilyeva is registered as both an apartment manager and an accredited residential manager, as well as a certified property and facility manager and a real estate broker.
Ms. Vasilyeva began her career as an office manager for a real estate company in 2009. In 2012, she accepted a role at a property management company as an assistant property manager, after which she gradually advanced to become a property and facility manager in 2015. Since 2020, Ms. Vasilyeva has served as the president of VK Property Management. As part of her dedication to her field, she is also a member of the National Society of Leadership and Success as well as the National Association of Realtors.
In her present role, Ms. Vasilyeva manages smaller properties such as condominiums and residential buildings. Among her duties, she handles all aspects of property management, including communicating with tenants, working with vendors and managing maintenance services. She also handles accounts payable, accounts receivable and financial reports. In recognition for her expertise, she was honored with an Executive Leadership Certification Award. To give back to her community, Ms. Vasilyeva is a volunteer on behalf of the Marine Toys for Tots Foundation and for New York Cares.
Priding herself on her communication skills, Ms. Vasilyeva ensures she has all the resources she needs to run her businesses successfully. She plans to continue her work and intends to expand her portfolio.
