For more than three decades, Ms. Piester has helped her clients acquire their dream homes as a real estate broker. After successful tenures as a trainer for the Success Series of the National Association of Realtors and a licensed real estate instructor, she founded Rita Piester Associates Real Estate Services in 1994 and has prospered as a real estate broker, trainer and property manager with Town and Country Real Estate since 2008.
Ms. Piester is a Certified Residential Broker (CRB) by the National Association of Realtors, a Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) by the National Association of Realtors, was named a Seniors Real Estate Specialist (SRES) by the National Association of Realtors, is a graduate of the Realtor Institute (GRI), National Association of Realtors) at the University of Virginia School of Law. In addition, she was named a Licensed Real Estate Broker by the National Association of Realtors and an Accredited Buyer’s Representative (ABR) by the National Association of Realtors.
Ms. Piester attributes much of her success to her drive to support the education of her three children. More importantly, she sincerely likes what she does, which has facilitated her development in the real estate industry throughout the years. It is her joy to help people secure their future and find the home of their dreams. Thanks to her motivation and passion, her client base has only kept growing from repeat business and referrals.
As a career highlight, Ms. Piester cites her service as founding president of the North End Huntington Heights Preservation Association (NEHHPA), which protected 350 historical houses in Newport News. It was formed to preserve the cultural and architectural integrity of the community. In the coming years, she intends to continue her role in helping people attain homes they love.
