After obtaining an Associate of Applied Science in computer science from Heald College in San Francisco in 1985, Mr. Morris later continued his education with a Bachelor of Science in safety management from Colorado Technical University in Colorado Springs in 1996. He served his country in the United States Navy from 1979 to 1983 and the United States Air Force from 1985 to 2000.
Mr. Morris found much success as a senior range controller with Loral Space and Range Systems from 1985 to 1991; a project manager with Honeywell Aerospace, formerly known as Allied Signal Inc., from 1991 to 2000; and IBX operations program manager with Equinix Inc., a multinational specializing in Internet connection and data centers from 2000 to 2015.
From 2015 to 2022, Mr. Morris lent superior service as program manager and director of information security management with, vXCHNGE Holdings, LLC data center in Secaucus, New Jersey providing power and space, infrastructure, carrier connectivity, and remote services. In addition, he has prospered as vice president of the White Plains Owners Group Inc. since 2021.
Mr. Morris became involved in his profession because his father, who was in the Air Force and then worked for NASA and was involved in the Gemini, Mercury, and Apollo programs in 1950s and 1960s, including the moon landings, and then worked on the deep space probes Voyager 1 and 2, was a big influence. He takes the greatest pride in working on transmitters sending signals to satellites and finding a solution to stop too much power from reaching cell towers, which would blow them out. In the coming years, consulting is an option for Mr. Morris as he has been approached by a vice president of another company to do consulting to establish their compliance program.
