Robert Wayne Bolois, PhD, Executive Director and Founder at New Destiny Treatment Center, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in counseling and religious services.

With more than 55 years of experience to his credit, Dr. Bolois has excelled as the founder and CEO of the New Destiny Treatment Center since 1992. It was considered a mission until Dr. Bolois wrote a program that satisfied the State of Ohio and became a licensed treatment center.  The Center consists of fourteen acres, dining hall, two dormitories, gymnasium, Mental Health facility, outpatient building and administration offices.  Currently the Center offers medical care, mental health therapy, residential services, outpatient counseling, IOP program and social services. The Center adequately provides all these services for sixty men each day that are residents for nine to twelve months receiving residential treatment.  There are approximately 150 clients that participate in outpatient services each week.  All of this was organized and built from nothing by the expertise and labor of Dr. Bolois.

Dr. Bolois initially pursued a formal education at Hobe Sound Bible College, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Biblical Literature in 1968. Becoming ordained as a minister by the Wesleyan Methodist Church in 1977, he continued his academic efforts with a Master of Arts in psychology, (Human Growth and Development), in 1988.  He concluded his secular studies in 1992 at Cornerstone University with a Doctor of Philosophy in Counseling Psychology. His desire and goal was to receive a Doctorate in Theology which happen in 2020 from Anderson University.  In addition to these accomplishments, Dr. Bolois has become a licensed Clinical Counselor and a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counsel0r in the State of Ohio. He
also holds licenses in numerous states such as Pennsylvania and Kentucky. Currently he holds a license as an ordained minister through the Internationl Conservative Holiness Association.

Beyond his primary responsibilities within the field, Dr. Bolois has participated in numerous endeavors outside of his professional circles. From 1985-1992 he served as the director for counseling and psychological testing for the Brinkhaven Homes for youth in North Lawrence, Ohio.  He had his own private practice from 1982-1992.  He likewise contributed as a member of the Board of Directors for Hobe Sound Bible College in 1987 through 1992 and again in 2015-2021.  He held numerous positions and offices in the Wesleyan Methodist Church in Stoneboro, Pennsylvania, from 1968-1991.  He served on the Board of the Barberton Rescue Mission from 1980-1998.  He was an associate Professor at the University of Akron of which he retired from teaching.  Dr. Bolois is also affiliated with the National Association of Forensic Counselors.

In light of his exceptional undertakings, Dr. Bolois has accrued several accolades throughout his impressive career.  He has been recognized by Hobe Sound Bible College with the Alumnus of the Year Award.  Furthermore, he was presented with the Outstanding Teaching Award from the University of Akron.  Attributing his success to his Faith and solid commitment to Christ as his Lord and Savior, he declares his work is not finished.  He is in the process of writing three books concerning Christian Counseling and Christian Care.  He continues to speak all over the states concerning various topics in mental health and Christian living.  Even though he is not a full time pastor he is constantly preaching which is the joy of his life.  He currently remains the CEO of New Destiny Treatment Center of which he watches his dreams unfold yet with what is to be accomplished.  The Center is in the process of building a new Chapel and also a Medical Center.

Dr. Bolois has stated repeatedly that he has no regrets.  He feels like he has given his entire life to working with people that had no hope of ever regaining what they lost in life.  His preaching has taken him all over America in different denominations.  His schooling, (education) has helped him incorporate Theology with everyday living.  He is not ready to stop but only anxious about what the future holds and what yet can be accomplished through the power of the Gospel of Christ.
