Robert Wayne Bolois, PhD, Executive Director and Founder at New Destiny Treatment Center, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in counseling and religious services.
With more than 55 years of experience to his credit, Dr. Bolois has excelled as the founder and executive director of the New Destiny Treatment Center since 1991. Furthermore, he has been active as a pastor with Ohio Bible Methodist in Barberton since 1990. Prior to these positions, Dr. Bolois began his career as a pastor for Allegheny Wesleyan Methodist Connection in Salem, Ohio between 1966 and 1990.
Dr. Bolois initially pursued a formal education at Hobe Sound Bible College, earning a Bachelor of Arts in biblical literature in 1968. Becoming ordained as a minister by the Wesleyan Methodist Church in 1977, he continued his academic efforts with a Master of Arts in psychology at Emmanuel Baptist University in 1990. He concluded his studies at the Carolina University of Theology in 1991, graduating with a Doctor of Philosophy in counseling. In addition to these accomplishments, Dr. Bolois has been certified as a pastoral counselor and temperament therapist by the National Christian Counselors Association.
Beyond his primary responsibilities within the field, Dr. Bolois has participated in numerous endeavors outside of his professional circles. Since 1990, he has served as a psychologist with the Brink Haven Homes for Youth in North Lawrence, Ohio. He likewise contributed as a member of the board of directors for Hobe Sound BIble College in 1987, the district youth chairman for Wesleyan Methodist Church in Stoneboro, Pennsylvania from 1973 to 1975, the vice president for the American Red Cross since 1983, a counselor for the Barberton Rescue Mission from 1983 to 1990 and a professor at the University of Akron. Dr. Bolois has also been affiliated with the National Association of Forensic Counselors.
In light of his exceptional undertakings, Dr. Bolois has accrued several accolades throughout his impressive career. He has been recognized by Hobe Sound BIble College with the Alumnus of the Year Award. Furthermore, he was presented with the Outstanding Teaching Award from the University of Akron. Attributing his success to his faith, Dr. Bolois hopes to establish a chapel at the medical center on the campus of the New Destiny Treatment Center while publishing his books on mental healthcare and the power of the Gospel of Christ.
