Barbara Lincoln, Director of Customer Satisfaction and Integration at Erie Insurance, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in organizational structuring and influencing.
After obtaining a Bachelor of Science in accounting with a concentration in management science and statistics, magna cum laude, from the University of Rhode Island, Ms. Lincoln provided superior service as a tax manager with Price Waterhouse Coopers in Philadelphia and Providence, RI from 1981 to 1989 and as a reengineering, tax compliance and accounting executive with GE Capital in Stamford, Connecticut from 1989 to 1994. Ms. Lincoln then excelled as a leader of strategic initiatives and human resources operations with Hartford Insurance in Hartford, Connecticut from 1997 to 2002.
With Erie Insurance, a leading property and casualty insurance company offering auto, home, business and life insurance through a network of independent insurance agents, Ms. Lincoln prospered as a leader of human resources and OED from 2005 to 2010; as a leader in sales and agency planning, reporting and technology from 2010 to 2012; and a leader in business integration from 2012 to 2017. From the latter year to the present, she has served ably as director of customer satisfaction and integration.
Ms. Lincoln’s career honors include Professional of the Year in ACE Award Customer Satisfaction from Confirmit, Inc. in 2020, an Innovation Fair Platinum Award from Erie Insurance in 2012 and a two-time Chairman’s Award Finalist with Hartford Insurance. In addition, she has been a member of the Customer Experience Professionals Association since 2013.
Ms. Lincoln attributes her success to being a “people person” and ability to translate technical terms to understandable laymen’s language. As a career highlight, she cites helping to restructure GE Capital’s entire tax compliance operation. In the coming years, she is hoping for continued career success as well as branching out into education or public speaking.
