Inspired to pursue a professional path in safety by his father, who worked as a safety engineer, in addition to his desire to help people and make a difference, Mr. Allison began his career in 1980 as a journeyman ironworker in San Francisco and subsequently excelled as a foreman for a steel company, a corporate safety manager and a safety manager for multiple companies.
From 2017 to 2012, Mr. Allison made an impact as a senior loss control consultant with major multinational finance and insurance corporation American International Group (AIG). He is certified as an occupational hygiene and safety technician, a construction health and safety technician, a construction risk insurance specialist, and an ordained minister, having obtained an associate degree in theology and missiology studies from Berean Bible College in Poway, California in 1992. He has contributed to his community as a chaplain of the Royal Rangers for the Bethel Church and a children and youth director for the Southeast Asian Assembly of San Jose from 1982 to 1987. He then became the Senior Pastor for Southeast Asian Assembly of God in San Jose, California, which ministers to Lao, Mien and Hmong immigrants from Vietnam and surrounding countries. Notably, Mr. Allison has been honored as a patriotic employer by the United States Department of Defense and was recognized among the Outstanding Young Men of America in 1988.
