Focused on expanding his career opportunities, Mr. Amadou obtained a bachelor’s degree in information systems and economics from the University of North Carolina Greensboro, where he was inducted into the Honor Society, in 2015. He subsequently earned a master’s degree in cybersecurity from the University of Maryland in 2018. Currently, he is completing coursework toward a doctorate in information systems, including a dissertation in artificial intelligence, from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He has additionally received more than five cyber security certifications.
A native of Niger, Mr. Amadou is inspired by his father, who was employed in the U.S. Embassy in their home country and was recognized for his hard work by the President of the United States before the family relocated to the United States. He was awarded the Certificate of Honor from the International Scholar Laureate Program and has been a member of the National Society of Collegiate Scholars. Passionate about data protection, active control, and network and cloud security, Mr. Amadou plans to continue working in his field while broadening the scope of his education.
