Linda Griffin, Chief Executive Officer at Lindco Inc., has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in data systems management.

Following earning a Bachelor of Science in business education/business administration in 1971 from Tennessee State University in Nashville, Ms. Griffin subsequently earned a Master of Arts in business education/business administration in 1973 from Columbia University in New York. After providing superior service from 1973 to 1975 as a system engineer with Electronic Data Systems, she prospered as an electronic data systems engineer, programmer analyst, manager, associate vice president and vice president of information technology data center support with Allianz Life Insurance Company of North America from 1975 to 1993. Since 1998, she has served the Independent School District of Garland, Texas, the first African American to do so. Moreover, Ms. Griffin became the chief executive officer of LINDCO, a management consultant firm specializing in project planning and implementation, executive recruiting, staff development, information systems’ analysis and diversity, equity and inclusion. Clients have included small businesses, non-profit organizations, school systems, and various companies.  

Ms. Griffin has served her community as co-founder of St. Mark Institutional Baptist Church, Garland Economic Development Partnership chairperson, Texas Association of School Boards director and Martin Luther King Jr. Community Choir coordinator. Her many honors for community service include the Outstanding Texan Award for 2019 from the Texas Legislative Black Caucus, Trustee of the Year 2019 from the Texas Alliance of Black School Educators (TABSE), National Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) Life Member Award in 2009, and Leadership Award from Texas Alliance of Black School Educators from 2002 through 2004. Ms. Griffin attributes her success to her faith, courage, intelligence, education, exposure, and willingness to take risks. In the coming years, her goal is to be a chief executive officer of a company that promotes the development of all women, spiritually, professionally, and socially.
