After earning a Bachelor of Arts in communications design from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology in Kumasi, Ghana, Mr. Prempeh would subsequently continue his studies at Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, New York, where he obtained a master’s degree in design management. Pursuant to his belief that the human mind can achieve anything it can conceive — and rooted in his entrepreneurial spirit — he deployed his impressive academic credentials to position himself for success across various industries and professional endeavors. A direct descendant of King Prempeh the 1ST of the Ashanti royal family of Ghana, cultivating an international presence has proved vital to Mr. Prempeh’s business ventures, as he offers deep and varied experience across diverse industries.

In Accra, Ghana, Mr. Prempeh began his corporate career working as the chief executive officer and chief strategy officer at Prempeh Publicity Ltd. between 1996 and 2000, a company which later developed and published Advertising Review, the first magazine devoted to the nation’s advertising markets and media industries. Prior to his current appointments, he served as a lead trainer in supply chain operations for Advance Auto Parts Inc. from 2016 to 2020, a member of the press operations team at RR Donnelley between 2014 and 2015, and a creative consultant for Ideal World Games LLC from 2003 to 2011, where he conceptualized and designed their flagship game “WHO’S THE RICHEST.” He likewise co-founded The Africa Strategy Group LLC in 2019, where he continues to operate as the director of strategic communications and public relations. Having accrued over 35 years of experience in the field, Mr. Prempeh currently excels as the chief executive officer, creative director and chief strategy officer of ABP Communications LLC, a firm located in Hartford, Connecticut which he founded in 2020.

In addition to his professional duties, Mr. Prempeh is well regarded for his dedication to civic advocacy, serving as a pro bono consultant for the Taproot Foundation since 2013, participating in climate change awareness events and organizing the Race Against Time event with Brands That Care. In addition to his passion for climate and environmental activism, Mr. Prempeh is strategically focused on bridging the gap between rich and less developed economies through organizing such events as the USA AFRICA INVESTMENT SUMMIT FORUM. This yearly event aims to identify and match the investment needs of all African economies with diverse investment sources from the United States on a win-win basis.

In light of his accomplished career, Mr. Prempeh attributes much of his success to his late father, Osei Tutu Prempeh, who instilled in him a foundation of hard work, honesty, empathy and compassion. In the coming years, Mr. Prempeh aims to continue expanding his business interests, and he hopes to interact with more private sector institutions, with the objective of availing himself to more audiences and consumers.
