Having excelled as an electrician for 62 years, Mr. Rose has provided invaluable mentorship to countless electricians over the course of his career. Certified as a master electrician in 1973, he began working in electrical maintenance in 1960 while serving in the U.S. Navy. He flourished as the owner of Michael C Rose Electrical Solutions Co. from 1970 to 1995 and he additionally provided decisive leadership as a maintenance supervisor with 3-Dimensional Services. He broadened his professional options through obtaining a certified builders license in 1978, and built houses for a brief period, before returning more exclusively to electrician work.
Mr. Rose attributes much of his success in electrical maintenance to the knowledge he acquired during his 10 years of commendable service in the U.S. military. While in the Navy, he was deployed to Vietnam from 1968 until 1969, to the Red Sea in 1967, and to Cuba in 1963. Staying true to his motto, “Never say never. Nothing is impossible,” he still maintains his master electrician certification, despite being classified as disabled. He finds it incredibly rewarding to have made significant contributions to an industry of such importance to the world. He currently is looking forward to doing more traveling.
